CAREER COUNSELLING AND UNIVERSITY PLACEMENT SERVICES
Career counselling focuses on helping students identify the right career options based on their interests, inclinations and take informed decision about their future study programs to achieve their goals. With plethora of options available, students and parents are equally overwhelmed in identifying the most suitable options.
Undergraduate Programs (UK, US and European Universities)
We at IMPETUS, provide personalized guidance and support to students through the process of taking the crucial decision about their undergraduate degrees.
- Student and Parent Consultation: Initial consultation with student and family to understand the aspirations, inclination, aims, unique talents and needs of the student. The student may be required to take some career / personality test to identify the basic traits.
- High School Subject Selection: We recommend the subjects the students to take up in high school based on the Undergraduate course pathway and University requirements
- University Selection and List: Development of a university list based on the selected career pathways
- Developing Strategy and Planning: Developing strategy and timeline for university applications and standardized tests e.g. SAT, ACT, IETLS, LNAT etc.
- Extracurricular Activities and Internships: Developing strategy for extracurricular activities and internships to be taken up by students, which will provide weightage to their portfolio.
- Statement of Purpose / Essay Writing: Our team of well qualified professions helps in development of SOP’s, Essay topic selection and writing.
- Resume Development: We Assist in creating student’s personal profile (CV)
- Recommendations: We advise on seeking recommendation letters from teachers, mentors, and counsellors.
- University Application Support : We are assisting In university applications filling out, documentation requirements, liaising with University’s admissions officers
International Foundation and International Year One Programs
For the students who are unable to complete their high schools or are unable to achieve the entry requirements for undergraduate programs, we provide university placement services at different entry levels in our partner Universities in UK and US.
The programs available are:
- Internation Foundation Year Program that leads to Year 1 of an undergraduate degree.
- International Year One that leads to Year 2 of an undergraduate degree
- Undergraduate Degree with International Foundation
Summer School Programs and Internships
Summer schools are a great idea to explore and understand keys aspects of any course that students are considering for university OR can be just a pre-university experience.
We recommend right courses for the students be it Finance, Economics, Engineering, Coding, Law etc.”
